Silly pub pics

These pics are from a drunken night out a little while back. There have been a few of these nights over Col's birthday and around Easter. Brody even came to visit but I have somehow lost the only photo I took of him on Col's birthday. Greg also came to see us when he was up from Melbourne and we all went along to a fundraiser concert in the BLOCK - Redfern. Quite a positive experience, although kind a strange feeling to be hanging out there. Perhaps it's the start of a brighter future for that area.

ANZAC Day Two-up

As Australian tradition would have it, ANZAC Day is the only day in the year where playing two-up is legal. So we headed to the Alexandria to partake in the fun and have a wee bet.

One sunny Sunday in the Botanic Gardens

There is nothing quite like a Sunday stroll through Sydney's Botanic Gardens en route to the Art Gallery of NSW. Taking in the beautiful surrounds, being careful to dodge the bat poo and stopping for a minute at Speaker's Corner. There is always someone with something to say!


It's impossible to miss the resident bats - these noisy creatures adorning just about every tree in the vicinity.
