Hello!

Maz and Josh blog again...

We've been back in Sydney for about 3 months now and are enjoying having a space to live and a bit of normality. Below you'll find some of what we've been up to. Come back and check for updates from time to time.

A special hello to friends left in Chicago and to many other amazing people we met on our travels.

Welcome to Share the Lav. Life in Lavender Bay.

Kayaking at Palm Beach

On Easter Sunday we took advantage of the stunning weather and headed to Palm Beach to kayak across to Little Mackerel Beach in the Pitwater Basin.

Mazzy trying to be all iron-woman like.

Josh about to venture into the open surf. Sadly we don't have photos of the following events. He got out there OK but had a wee bit of trouble coming back in. Luckily no broken bones. It was quite dramatic to watch him come flying off a massive wave. The kayak going one way and him the other. I had to laugh.

Frisky Bunnies ...

HAPPY EASTER!

Just look at that view!

Ollie embarking on a twilight paddle.

(It was great when Ol and Bron came to visit but we took almost no photos during their stay! ...but go to their blog, they've got heaps.)

Our weekly fireworks show - yawn. No really, its a pretty special little place and we are very lucky to have it. We shall enjoy it while it lasts!

Moving into Lavender Bay

We cant get enough of our new view! Yeah, its northside and yeah we are surrounded by rich old fuddies, but this could be our only chance to have a waterfront home ever!

Chasing rainbows ...

... in Bungonia. Not long after we got back to Sydney we headed out to Bungonia (near Goulbourn) for a bush doof and tree plant. Camping on the edge of a cliff we had spectacular views across the valley, lots of free open space and great DJs on the open-air stage.
